Case Study Analysis
The case study analysis is a learning tool adapted to incorporate the analytical and decision making skill to MBA students. Indirect discussion of case studies where the student is being an actively involved in the discussion, rather than just a talking head delivering content.
An objective of the Case Study Analysis
- To analysis the issue of concern, problem, challenge, or opportunity.
- To cultivate and built the decision making skill among students.
The focus is on students learning through their joint, co-operative effort. A case study is a description of an actual administrative situation involving a decision to be made or a problem to be solved. Case studies, a decision must be made, although that decision might be to leave the situation as it is and do nothing. Prof. Samiya Mubeen gave the student finance Case Study to the MBA student to analysis and administrative her situation involving a decision to be made or a problem to be solved. The case study Analysis can be divided up into two components:
- What you do to prepare before the class discussion?
- What takes place in the discussion of the case?
In the class discussion:
- A student started the discussion, facts and data.
- Listen carefully and take notes others group of students asked questions, where question and answers were discussed.
- An active discussion was going on where lots of knowledge was exchanged.
- Based upon the contribution in discussion evaluation, suggestions and decision were taken with concluding remarks.
